I've been trying to download the cumulative hotfix in article 904660 (patches
to build 8.00.2162). However, the link on the page is not fiding the file to
download:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
Does anyone know where I can download the 904660 cumulative patch? Thanks!
Hotfix 2162 has been removed.
A cumulative hotfix package is available for SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 4
build 2162
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/904660/en-us
CSS (formerly PSS) is working on the replacement hotfix.

|||Thanks, Geoff. Unfortunately, the link you provided is the same one I'm
trying to use. It leads to a page with the following message: "The download
you requested is unavailable. If you continue to see this message when trying
to access this download, go to the "Search for a Download" area on the
Download Center home page." I can't find it anywhere else. I guess I simply
need to stop pursuing it.

|||Read the actual article before clicking on the download link. The page
tells you the hotfix has been removed.

|||Aha! I see what you mean now. I usually skip that very first section, becuase
usually it doesn't contain much meat. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks for
your help!
