Does VS.NET 2003 works with RS 2005?

That's it. If I have a server with RS 2005 and in my PC VS.NET.. can I design
and program reports?
Thanks
JaimeRS 2005 does not work with VS 2003. BUT, unlike RS 2000, RS 2005 comes with
a development environment if you do not have VS 2005. I.e. if you have VS
2005 then it integrates with that just like before otherwise it installs a
special version of VS that is just for developing reports.

do you know if SQL Server /RS/VS.NET 2005 can run on the same instance
of win XP as all the same on 2000? Or are we up for separate PCs or
separate operating system images? Just curious...
Thanks
Peter|||If all you care about is RS 2005, it does not have to have SQL Server DB
2005 to run, you can run RS 2005 using a 2000 DB as the object store (which
is what I plan to do, I have much more flexibility with upgrading RS than I
do upgrading SQL Server DB). Note that this does not mean you don't have to
have the 2005 license, you do, it is just that RS 2005 can be installed with
SQL Server 2000 Database.

thanks for that, it's good to know...we are just looking for the
improved charting....we can do all the character based reports
first...
Best Regards
Peter
