Downgrade Enterprise edition to Standar edition

Hi all!
I want to change from sql server enterprise edition to sql server standar
edition due to licensing cost. Do anybody have do this?
Any KB article saying hot to reach this?
Thanks for your help.
You'll have to backup all of your databases, de-install EE, install Std and
then restore all DB's.

not be available once you switch to Std edition.

Downgrad from EE to standard

Trying to save some licensing fees.
Is there an easy way to downgrade from EE to Standard?
Trying to avoid a server rebuild.
TIA,
Joe HellstenHi Joe,
Unfortunately you do have to reinstall SQL Server to downgrade SQL Server from EE to Standard Edition.
Sincerely,
